Eye emergencies do not always happen during office hours. Patients who need urgent care outside of our regular schedule can call our main office number and be connected directly to the on-call provider.

Common Questions About Eye Injuries and Emergencies
Sudden loss of vision, flashes or floaters that appear suddenly, severe eye pain, a chemical splash, a cut or scratch to the eye, or any foreign object in the eye that will not come out with gentle rinsing are all situations that warrant urgent eye care. When in doubt, call us.
Keep the eye closed and avoid rubbing it. If a chemical has splashed in your eye, rinse with clean water for at least 15 minutes before calling. Do not attempt to remove any embedded object yourself, as this can cause additional damage.
