Where It All Started
Dr. Jon Lutz began working at Wendell Eye Care in 2009. He and his wife Janelle then purchased the practice in May 2016. They didn’t just maintain what was already there, they built their team, the culture, and the patient care philosophy from the ground up, creating something this community could genuinely call its own.
That growth kept going. In December 2021, Wendell Eye Care moved into a larger, more modern space at 18 S Main Street in downtown Wendell. The new location gave the team room to expand and created a more welcoming environment that reflects the quality of care found inside.
Dr. Lutz is invested in the Wendell Community. He is a member of the Wendell United Methodist Church, served on the Wendell town board of commissioners for 12 years and is a longstanding member of the Wendell Rotary Club.
